What Censys is good at
Internet-wide scanning at serious engineering depth, with an attack-surface product built on it and a strong reputation among security teams and researchers. The lineage traces back to the ZMap work at the University of Michigan.
Choose it when: Finding assets across the whole internet, including the ones an organisation does not know it owns, and scoring exposure across a large estate.
What DomainDrift adds
The layer that comes after discovery: continuous re-reading of the domains you already know about, a dated record of every material change, and an export a third party can verify without an account. Discovery and evidence are complementary jobs, and most mature programmes want both.
